Effort without effort
A punch, backhand, cup-strike, sidestep, or low kick appears exactly when needed. Then the ninja returns to the same pose.
How to remain unruffled.
- Watch the edges. The old cedar creaks or bamboo shifts before a rival reveals their position or attempts a fakeout.
- Wait for commitment. A teasing rival may vanish again. When the ring contracts to gold, the effortless strike window is open.
- Tap once. The ninja automatically chooses the right casual response. Extra tapping only wastes composure.
- Respect the tea. A quiet cup restores composure. Tapping through the break spills it, which is frankly embarrassing.

How do you play Mellow Ninja?
A Mellow Run lasts 75 seconds. Wait for a rival to commit, then tap or click during the gold timing moment. Early swings, fakeouts, and late reactions disturb your composure.
Is composure the same as health?
Composure replaces a normal health bar. Perfect hits restore a little calm. Whiffs and late reactions wear it down until the round ends.
Do the eight art styles change the game?
Classic is always available. Earn Chill through completed runs, protected tea, and precise timing to permanently unlock Ink Wash, Paper Cutout, Pixel, Soft Toy, Sticker Bold, Comic Book, and Graffiti. Every look uses the same timing and scoring.
What is Chill?
Chill is Mellow Ninja’s permanent cosmetic currency. Completed runs earn more for score, perfect hits, undisturbed tea breaks, preserved composure, and the first Daily Calm completion of the day. Spend it on looks, tea cups, resting poses, and impact effects.
What moves can Mellow Ninja use?
Mellow Ninja automatically chooses a punch, lazy backhand, cup-strike, sidestep, or low kick. The move system remains expandable, so new named actions can be added to every style later.
What is Daily Calm?
Daily Calm is one deterministic 75-second challenge each day. Everyone gets the same rival plan. Consecutive first completions build a synced Daily streak and add up to three bonus Chill.
Does Mellow Ninja have an endless mode?
Yes. Endless Calm has no clock and keeps getting busier until composure reaches zero. Mellow Run, Daily Calm, and Endless Calm each keep a separate best score.
